3. The "school Canteen" project
The "School Canteen" project was an example of the introduction to Entrepreunership in our school organization. 4th grade students took advantage of the lack of a school canteen in school year 2019-20. They learned by doing how it is to be an entrepreneur and they improved 21st century skills like teamworking, flexibility and problem solving.
Healty food and use of regional products was part of the project too. |
4. "Virtual Enterprise"
Virtual Enterprise was a project aiming to foster leadership, social and digital skills. Students created a Virtual Entreprise about the highlight of locations of touristical interest in municipality of Lagadas, where our school is also located. They created touristical routes, easy accesible with QR codes.

5. "Culture Hunters"
"Culture Hunters" is an eTwinning project that was implemented by students of Geniko Lykeio Assirou (Greece), Laskorain Ikastola (Basque Country), Pikkolan Koulu (Finland) and Lycee Pilote Sakiet Ezzit (Turkey). 6. "The year they were born"
"The year they were born" is a collaborative eTwinning project that teaches European history focusing on special days: they days students, their parents and their grandparents were born! In that way students had the opportunity to compare the historical, political and cultural events of their own country, as well as different countries. |
7. Open Day I
Open Day I, a project dissemination activity, was held in May 2019. It was a seminar dedicated to the comparative study of european educational systems. More particularly the participant teachers presented the systems that have been examined via stuctured courses and job shadowing (Ireland, Portugal, Finland). Quest speakers participated representing Regional Centre of educational policy, secondary teacher's union (ELME), parents association and the municipality of Lagadas. An open discussion among all parties followed the event.
